Project Overview
This project involves Datadirect Global's implementation of a high-performance, comprehensive, secure, and centrally managed wireless network system for the headquarters building of a Singapore-based company. It addresses existing challenges such as coverage blind spots, limited concurrent capacity, lack of unified management, and inconsistent user experience.
The objective is to create a wireless office environment characterized by “anywhere access, instant connectivity, security and reliability, and high availability.”
Construction Objectives
Technical Architecture
The solution adopts Aruba Wi-Fi 6 technology, centered on the Aruba 7205 Wireless Controller, managed via the Aruba AirWave platform. Various AP models were deployed to suit different environments:
Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and BSS Coloring significantly enhance concurrency, speed, and anti-interference capabilities—ideal for complex, high-user environments.
Network Security and Policy Control
This solution goes beyond basic connectivity by establishing a robust enterprise-grade security framework
Implementation and Operations Plan
The project covered all stages from site survey, design, cabling, equipment deployment, testing, pilot run, to final acceptance.
Clear construction standards (e.g., wall-mounting, cable routing, labeling) and detailed schedules ensured control and quality at each phase.
