The Cisco GLC-SX-MMD is a 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver module for multimode fiber (MMF) with 850nm wavelength and Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM). It supports distances up to 550m on legacy 50μm MMF and up to 1km on OM3 MMF, compliant with IEEE 802.3z.
